Teryn to emcee 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s

A life changing experience for me last year, I’m excited to announce I will return as this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s emcee at my local Jacksonville, FL, walk. Furthering my involvement with a cause near and dear to my heart, I’m also starting a team and I encourage YOU to join!
That’s right, ANYONE can join my PGA TOUR team by either signing up to walk with us in Jacksonville, or by donating toward our team goal. I started my journey to help End Alzheimer’s after losing my grandfather to his, more than 10-year, battle with the disease back in 2016. Fast forward to today, I’m starting my very own team after joining forces with the Alzheimer’s Association and a little inspiration from my bridesmaids. I know he would be proud💜

But this team isn’t just in memory of my grandfather — it’s for everyone out there who has or is experiencing their loved ones going through this, everyone who has ever been diagnosed with the disease, everyone caring for those with Alzheimer’s, and — most importantly — to prevent others from going through this battle in the future.

I do this for you, for my family and for the more than 50 million people living with Alzheimer’s today.

In an effort to jump-start my PGA TOUR Team, I’ve made a $100 donation to get things started. But any amount helps! Just $1 will get us that much closer to finding a cure. Did you know that many companies will also match your donations too?! You could make double the impact! Don’t have the means to donate? Get out and volunteer at your local walk!

I want to thank everyone for their support and I encourage all those that are able to come out to the Jacksonville Walk to End Alzheimer’s on November 3rd — or find a local walk in your area.

Together we WILL find a cure! There will be Alzheimer’s survivors one day! #EndALZ
